Lee Winter is a Principal of WRE Consulting. Prior to WRE Consulting, Mr. Winter headed the incentives practice for a global real estate services and also held a senior position in the economic incentives practice at Grant Thornton, one of the world's leading consulting and tax firms where he assisted and advised corporations throughout the country to obtain economic incentives.
Lee started his career in economic incentives at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) where, for over 10 years, he was responsible for attracting and retaining companies to NYC through specialized, discretionary and statutory (as-of-right) economic incentives packages.
WRE Consulting has over 25 years of experience in economic incentives. We are here to help brokers get meetings and business and then incentives can help the economics of the transaction and close the deal.
WRE is comprised of former senior government economic development officials, we have expertise in economic incentives, municipal finance, public-private partnerships, real estate development, and commercial leasing. Our principals all have many years of experience split roughly evenly between the public and private sectors.
