In 1976, Alan Fischer founded Fischer Real Estate and has served as its President since that time. Fischer Real Estate specializes in helping people and businesses buy, sell or lease small-to-midsize commercial, industrial and investment real estate throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
Alan holds two of commercial real estate’s most coveted professional designations, CCIM (www.CCIM.com) and SIOR (www.SIOR.com), which are nationally recognized as emblematic of reaching the highest levels of professional competency and ethical standards within the industry. Among the estimated 125,000 licensed commercial agents throughout the United States, less than one percent hold both of these prestigious designations. In addition to membership in IOREBA, Alan is also a member of the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Connecticut Economic Resource Center (www.CERC.com), a past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the CCIM Institute and a former member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (www.ICSC.org/).
Alan has lived and worked in Fairfield and New Haven Counties his entire life. He holds Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in education from the University of Bridgeport, is a former Vice-Chairman of the Stratford Board of Education, which he served for seven years and a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Bridgeport, which he served for ten years. Currently he serves as President of the Orange Economic Development Corporation and is Chairman of its Executive Committee.
