Charles Klatskin has served as a Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSale since its acquisition of Klatskin Associates, the company for which he had served as Chairman and CEO. Klatskin Associates was the result of an alignment with The Charles Klatskin Company, Inc., which he founded in 1966. He is also a General Partner of Forsgate Industrial Partners, which has built and owns over 9,000,000 sf of industrial property in New Jersey.

Charles Klatskin is a 1959 graduate of The Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Industrial Real Estate and Economics. His early training in real estate was at Brown Harris, Stevens in New York City. In 1962, Charles Klatskin was the youngest member ever admitted into SIOR, where he has served as National Director, National District Vice President, Regional Vice President, Chairman of various committees and President of the New Jersey Chapter.

He has lectured on industrial and commercial real state at the University of Pennsylvania, Fisher College of Business of The Ohio State University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, New York University, SIOR and NAIOP and has conducted various seminars in New York and New Jersey. In 1999 Mr. Klatskin received the Leadership Excellence Award from the Real Estate Institute of Monmouth University and in 2000 he received the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Real Estate. In May, 2001, Mr. Klatskin was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from NAIOP.
