Mr. Schofel is a Partner in the Eastman Companies. A specialist in construction and development since 1980, Mr. Schofel is responsible for the successful completion of Eastman Construction Company's commercial, industrial and office facilities, and he has been the moving force behind the company's highly successful renovation and design/build operations. Mr. Schofel is deeply involved in community and industry activities.

He has served as President of the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce, as a Board Member of the Livingston YMCA, as a Board Member of Essex County Division of the American Heart Association, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Daughters of Israel Geriatric Center for 16 years and Executive Board Member. He is a member of BOMA, IREM, CoreNet Global, IOREBA and EO.
