Principal
Tom Nuara began his career in real estate with The Kislak Company and worked there for twelve years before becoming a principal with Resource Realty in 1990. He specializes in "value added" industrial investments, disposition of corporate industrial facilities and tenant representation. Investment in New Jersey property by both institutional and private investors continues to grow throughout the New Jersey market. Tom has concluded some of the largest redevelopment projects in the state including the 1,000,000 SF Lilly Tulip Facility (now retail), 1,000,000 SF former Keebler Facility (now a multi-tenanted industrial building), and the 300,000 SF Wonder Bread facility (now an office/high tech center). Other significant investment sales completed by Tom are the sale of a 750,000 SF industrial park on behalf of California State Teachers Retirement System and the sale and subsequent lease of a 530,000 SF industrial building in the Meadowlands.
Disposition assignments have also been completed on behalf of Equitable Life (256,000 SF sale), Mutual of New York (100,000 SF & 115,000 SF), TA Associates Pension Advisors (200,000 SF), Man Roland (208,000 SF) and USA Detergents (650,000 SF).
Noteable lease transactions include a 610,000 SF lease on behalf of Keystone Property Trust, a 524,000 SF & 370,000 SF lease to Church & Dwight, and a 320,000 SF lease on behalf of the New York Times.
Tom is a 1970 graduate of Boston College and a member of the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA). Tom sits on the Planning Board of his home town of Little Silver, New Jersey.
