ISELIN, N.J., Jan. 13, 2010 – The Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) accepted 21 new associate members this winter. With roots dating back to 1927, IOREBA is one of the nation’s largest regional commercial real estate groups; its more than 300 members conduct business in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
“IOREBA prides itself on being a strong, successful organization full of diverse professionals,” stated Charles Logan Jr., president of IOREBA and chief executive officer for The Aztec Corporation. “Our monthly events are well attended by members and guests, which make for great networking and potential business opportunities. There have been three events in the 2009/2010 Events Calendar, and they have all surpassed past attendance. We welcome all to come out and join us in our remaining six events for 2010.”
IOREBA members go through a rigorous approval process before they are accepted into the organization. This ensures that IOREBA grows not only in numbers, but in quality as well. The new associate members come from a wide range of industries including advertising, architecture, art consultants, banking and finance, construction, law, IT management, building restoration, real estate brokerage, development and property management.
“A value-added benefit for our members is the ability to converse with other professionals who are experiencing the same effects of the economy,” noted Logan. “This provides a great opportunity to build relationships and learn how others are coping.”
“Networking is an integral part of doing business, and has never been more important in the current economy,” stated Logan. “We are offering our members lower prices for our various networking events so they can afford to attend and perhaps gain new business.”
“Becoming a member of IOREBA definitely has its advantages, and not just financially,” continued Logan, referring to the Members section of www.ioreba.com. Company listings, headshots and bios of each member are featured there. Members can also post company press releases in a recently established Member News section. Both of these areas can be viewed by all visitors to the Web site.
