IOREBA WELCOMES 5 NEW ESSEX COUNTY MEMBERS FROM VARIOUS REAL ESTATE AND REAL ESTATE-RELATED COMPANIES
Brokers, Commercial and Real Estate-related Service Companies Join Tri-State Area Organization

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 10, 2010
– The Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) for the 2009-2010 Operating Event Year has accepted 5 new Essex County members from various real estate organizations. With roots dating back to 1927, IOREBA is one of the nation’s largest regional commercial real estate groups; its more than 300 members conduct business in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

“Many professionals who attend our events as guests inquire about membership with our organization,” stated Charles Logan Jr., outgoing president of IOREBA and chief executive officer for The Aztec Corporation. “Our monthly meetings are well attended, which make for great networking and potential business opportunities.”

“IOREBA events are always a great opportunity to engage with other professionals,” said Stephen Olefson, director of development with Denholtz Associates. “These events accomplish what social networking (like LinkedIn) can not – it’s where relationships get started and introductions get made.”

“I joined IOREBA for two main reasons: networking and education,” added Blake Chroman, vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle, referring to the guest speakers who regularly highlight current industry trends and economic forecasts. “Relative to education, I felt that attending the various speaker events would help me become a more well-rounded real estate professional.”

Like all IOREBA members, the latest additions participated in a rigorous approval process before they were accepted. They include:

· Joe Arches, Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers in Livingston, N.J.;
· Oren David, Chief Executive Officer at Bavelle Technologies in Livingston, N.J;
· Thomas Quinn, Owner of Eastern Essential Services, Inc. in Fairfield, N.J.;
· Phil Romano, Vice President, Investors Savings Bank in Short Hills, N.J.;
· Eric Stone, Executive Vice President & Managing Director at Grubb & Ellis Company in Fairfield, N.J.;

IOREBA recently introduced a flexible fee schedule and lower pricing for events, to ensure members can still afford to attend in a struggling economy. Members also have the value-added benefit of exposure in the “Members” section of www.ioreba.com. Company listings, headshots and bios of each member are featured there. Members can also post company press releases in a recently established Member News section. Both of these areas can be viewed by all visitors to the Web site.
