IOREBA HIGHLIGHTS MEMBERS WITH LAUNCH OF ENHANCED WEB SITE
LinkedIn Profile Also Created for Contact Between Meetings

ISELIN, N.J., Sept. 3, 2009 – The Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) has launched a new Web site – www.ioreba.com – which features innovative resources for members to highlight recent news and improve networking opportunities.

“IOREBA has always recognized the importance of networking between members, which is more important today than ever,” stated Charles Logan Jr., president of IOREBA and president and chief executive officer for The Aztec Corporation. “The organization continually holds events that encourage the exchange of ideas and information. Now, our members can take this a step further by submitting content to our Web site.”

By submitting information to the Web site, IOREBA members can upload their latest company news and press releases to highlight their work. The recently added “Members News” section is available for all visitors to view, but only members can submit these announcements.

Another popular feature with many members is the capability to upload a bio and headshot to the online member directory.

In addition to member bios, the “Resource Center,” accessible through the home page, lists all IOREBA member companies, with a short description and the company logo, as well as a link to the individual company’s Web site. For easy browsing purposes, the companies are divided into three categories – developers, brokers and service providers.

“Our Web site has always been easy to navigate and considered a great tool for our members,” continued Logan. “These improvements will serve as a value-added service for years to come. Each board, as the years go by, will continue to build on the work that was spearheaded by our previous president Dave Violette. It is this type of continuation of networking, ideas and business entrepreneurism that our group looks to instill and share with its members.”

IOREBA also recently established a LinkedIn group profile for the organization. As a result, members can keep in contact between meetings, which allows for additional networking opportunities. Once added to the group, members are encouraged to send questions and topic suggestions for future meetings.

With roots dating back to 1927, IOREBA is one of the nation’s largest regional commercial real estate groups; its more than 300 members conduct business in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
